Shaping Memory publication

Archiving as Creative Practice was the outcome of a British Council funded project I initiated, funded and produced for Radar, University of Loughborough, in collaboration with Visual Arts Network South Africa (VANSA). Written by VANSA’s Archive Fellow, Mkutaji wa Njia, it explored the practical and theoretical dimensions of archiving as an artistic practice. 

To complement the project, a series of six online workshops investigating the ethics, possibilities and challenges of creative engagement with archives were led by Mkutaji na Njia and commissioned artist Libita Sibungu.
