Quantum Untangled

How do we understand reality? Do the smallest particles in the universe lead to the biggest ripples across vast scales of space and time? Leading on the narrative interpretation for this exhibition gave me the opportunity to explore these questions, and many more, with King’s College London physicists.

Named as one of the top exhibitions to see in London by the londonist and TimeOut, Science Gallery London’s Quantum Untangled exhibition fused art, science and extraordinary interdisciplinary research together to consider big quantum questions and reveal the power quantum possesses to transform our futures. 

To situate this touring exhibition for a London context, I developed a brand new audio guide featuring artists and scientists in dialogue, developed new video content, BSL interpretation, and interpretation which foregrounded sensory experience and wonder.

The exhibition featured work by artists: Conrad Shawcross RA, Alistair McClymont, Monica C. LoCascio & Daniela Brill Estrada, Matthew Woodham, Robin Baumgarten, Chandrika Narayanan-Mohan and David Severn.

Quantum Untangled was an adaptation of Cosmic Titans: Art, Science and the Quantum Universe, a touring exhibition from Lakeside Arts and ARTlab, University of Nottingham.
